SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 10, 2011) – Thousands of active and retired military personnel call San Antonio home. As the official sponsor of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, Bud Light/Silver Eagle Distributors, the local Anheuser-Busch distributor, is a proud sponsor of the Rodeo’s Military Outreach Program. Each Friday during Rodeo season, Bud Light/Silver Eagle’s sponsorship will underwrite the cost of 100 Rodeo performance tickets in honor of our local military. These tickets will be distributed to local junior enlisted personnel who have recently completed basic training.

During the Official Military Night, Friday, February 11th, all active and retired military and their families will be recognized and honored for their commitment to our country. A special recognition ceremony will include a swearing in of 40 new military recruits and an inspiring tribute to more than 400 veterans. Additionally, 60 wounded warriors will be honored with the “Star Experience Package” that will include stage-side seats during the concert.

This year marks Bud Light/Silver Eagle’s second annual donation to the Military Outreach Program. “We are proud of the men and women who serve our nation and grateful for the sacrifices they make.
