The Budweiser ‘Here’s to the Heroes’ program is kicking-off the 2011 summer season with a variety of national and local fundraising initiatives. Silver Eagle Distributors, San Antonio’s hometown distributor, and the largest distributor of Budweiser, is working with national partners and local organizations to roll out a full campaign in support of our military and their families.

“Silver Eagle Distributors is pleased to participate in ‘Here’s to the Heroes’ to make a positive impact in the lives of our military and their families. We are proud of the men and women who serve our nation and this is an opportunity for us to show our appreciation for the sacrifices they make for our country.” said John L. Nau, III, president and CEO of Silver Eagle Distributors.

From Memorial Day through July 10th, Budweiser will feature patriotic cans and packaging, which will be available for purchase at local retailers throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas. FOH will receive 10 cents for every case equivalent of Budweiser sold in the San Antonio area.

Consumers can join our efforts to make a difference in the lives of our military families by purchasing the patriotic cans at local retailers and they can also choose to make a $5 donation to FOH by visiting www.facebook.com/Budweiser or texting HERO to 80888.*

“While we can never replace the loss of their loved ones, Budweiser’s support of our efforts will significantly expand our mission to help these deserving families,” said Major Dan Rooney, founder and president of the Folds of Honor Foundation.

Locally through Silver Eagle Distributors’ partnership with the San Antonio Missions, Silver Eagle will donate $100 for every home run hit in Wolff Stadium to Hope4Heroes during the 2011 Minor League Baseball regular season. All home runs hit during the 2011 All Star Game on June 29th will also be included.

“It is a privilege and honor to work with Silver Eagle Distributors and the San Antonio Missions to support America’s military families this summer. Nothing represents America like baseball, Budweiser and our Armed Forces.
